i installed realplayer from mediubuntu repository, after a clan
installation the plugin for firefox wasn't recognized.
i had to run the command
nspluginwrapper -i /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/nphelix.so
to get the plugin recognized ...

i installed cddao 1.2.3 with a link tutorial that is above, and brasero
started copying, it seems very slow to me, but it works. The problem
persists because brasero is unable to burn the image.
If you look at Brasero Extensions, you will see many problems: cdrdao
version problem, cdda2wav cannot
completing the information, i found that
/usr/bin/cdrecord - wodim
/usr/bin/mkisofs - genisoimage
/usr/bin/cdda2wav - icedax (i installed icedax)
it seems that brasero won't work, for cd copying or burning, whith the
software provided wihth Ubuntu Lucid.

I can confirm this bug, and i'm attaching a file that causes the
problem, where openoffice.org only displays info that is not inside the
table.

i can confirm this bug. oo3.1 crashes, and the window intented to
recover documents freezes, so you have to kill the process.
But my system isn't affected in any other way.

I can confirm this problem is caused by the upgrade to ubuntu jaunty. I
actually have docs that were correctly modified in oo previous version
under ubuntu hardy, and now have this problem.
Testing the docs whith which i've problems: it seems to me that the
problem is that .doc that have tables
I upgraded to Ubuntu Jaunty a while ago, and after that i tryed to
reproduce the crash. But rythmbox is now able to manage the error, and a
window pops up, identifying that de url doesn't exist.
I'm not able to know if the problem is solved on ubuntu intrepid.

the crash just happened again, and my logs get similar errors:
Xorg.0.log:(EE) [drm] Could not set DRM device bus ID.
Xorg.0.log:(EE) intel(0): [dri] DRIScreenInit failed. Disabling DRI.
Xorg.0.log:(WW) intel(0): ESR is 0x0001
Xorg.0.log:(WW) intel(0): PRB0_CTL (0x0001f001) indicates ring
i have a sony vaio laptop, whith an Intel 4500MHD card, and i had the
same problem. I fixed my xorg.conf in the same way as described above.
I just runned the test reconfigure test and the problem is still there
... i get a vesa line on the new xorg.conf.

fprint ... the only related package i can find in synaptic and is not
installed is libprintf-dev ...

i updated usbids ... and the the usbid is know recognized ... but as
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 138a:0001 DigitalPersona, Inc Fingeprint Reader
so .. it seems, the indication about Validity Fingerprint Reader wasn't
correctly recongized .. unless there is a driver develped under that
name that know
i can confirm the bug ... the reader doesn't work under ubuntu and the
usb id is still unkonwn to the system.
how can i help with this?
