Hi, Thanks for the advice. However disabling "overlay output video" it
didn't fix the issue.
Console output is the exactly the same.

This bugs occurs only on ATI cards (like X300, X700) with option "OpenGL
Video Output". On Hardy's (8.04) only.
When opening a Video, VLC then comes with:
