According to Ljiljan Veselinović (lilicus), it seems to affect 13.04
also.
However it seems that the menu reappear after a while (see his comment
above).
On my computer using 12.04, the menu don't reappear, they just stay
blank.

indicator-appmenu
Instead of libreoffice-gtk and libreoffice-gnome.

Your proposition just disable Compiz.
The bug is that full screen doesn't work fine with Compiz.
Replacing OpenOffice with LibreOffice resolved my problem.

Hi,
I really don't know how to rectify this bug. It is very annoying...
Considering the fact that so many people got this bug with PSPP with Karmic,
I guess developers will find a solution soon.
The best we can do is to wait for an update.

Sorry about being so slow - I've have a very hectic schedule. I deleted
my folders.db file and that fixed the problem.
