I get this too, with the same setup. It looks like ad-Orig-read-file- name requires a string as an argument, which acts as a prefix in the mini buffer. Something like "Save file in: ". I'm not sure what changed and where to fix it, but I hope this helps. -- emacs-snapshot viper-mode broken https:

I have a similar problem, except unplugging and pluggin the mouse back in doesn't work. I observed this problem in Edgy and in Fesity with a single difference. In Edgy I was able to run the following script to restore mouse functionality: #!/bin/bash rmmod ohci_hcd modprobe ohci_hcd In Feisty run
