I've got the same problem - just updated to Jaunty today.
I have the server running on an XP machine with an 8.04 server connected to it
and my IBM Thinkpad R51 now running the 9.04 beta. Everything worked under
Intrepid until today.

I was wondering that myself actually. I think it must've come bundled
in the recovery image that I used - it's the only possibility that makes
any sense. I've only had this installed for a few hours now so
obviously there hasn't been an update in the repositories to override
that version number.
I managed to solve the problem by appending =version to the end of the
package name to force the correct version to install.
I guess this can be closed now.

Assuming that this is the same problem that I'm having, this isn't a problem
with network manager at all. I tried Wicd and I've also tried using the
command line and I still haven't been able to connect to any encrypted wireless
networks (WEP,WPA,WPA2).

Just had this same error pop up. I've been using synergy for over a year now
and I haven't installed any updates today so I'm not sure what caused it. I'm
running an XP server on my desktop and Ubuntu 8.10 on my laptop. I attached

Just noticed Paul Hannah's comment above - I experience the same
behaviour. It seems random and I can't figure out why the clipboard
works sometimes but not others. I also have no idea how to debug it but
I'd be happy to try if someone explained how.

synergyc crashed with SIGSEGV in
Confirmed on Intrepid on an R51. This worked properly in Hardy and
stopped working as soon as I upgraded to Intrepid. I'm not sure how to
check if there is an acpi event or if xev is getting input from them but
I can check that if someone provides instructions. Testing in a Gnome
session.
