Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 14.10 stopped working and would only boot to initrams, I tried
multiple ways to restore the system without luck. I attempted to upgrade
to 15.04 but had trouble with startup disk creator which would fail
loading bootloader, then I tried to load bootrepair but
Also affect Libre Writer and Ubuntu Software Center. Cannot load either
one.

I found that when I switched to GNOME my mouse worked but without a cursor,
I was able to overcome that problem with some instructions I found on the
WEB, also I could not load gmail on Chrome, I overcame that by disabling
the version spoofer extension I had to loaded for the Linus Silverlight
I'm running 13.10 as well and my screen also randomly freezes when
running videos in Chrome.
