I reproduced the issue by creating an iframe element and then writing to
its ownerDocument without opening closing it.

Toshiba Satellite Pro C650D Freezes while bootprocess with ACPI on

When I am using a live-CD, the alternate-CD or the installed OS the System
Freezes while booting.
When I am adding the bootoption acpi=off, the system starts normally.
I have tried to use the options noapic, noagp, noapm, pci=noacpi,
acpi=force. They did not work.

you were right. I am remembering, that the bug was showing, after I had used
brasero.
