Anything safe has been backported to the 0.9.16 repository branch
already in Hedgewars Mercurial. But that's a rather small subset of the
changes.
The problem is that virtually anything breaks network compatibility
since, to keep cheating in a FOSS game down, and to keep the network
protocol
Just as an example of just what can change network play. Changing one
pixel on one theme object requires a protocol bump, since a hog's
movements could be slightly changed.

were as close together as keep aligned would let them be (0 icons worth

I had the same thing happen to me.
I'd enabled (toggled the switch in gnome-shell-extensions) the user theme
extension, then rebooted.
Oh, I'd also installed the full gnome package which was why I was rebooting,
but I doubt that was it.
After reboot, was crashing, couldn't get it to recover,

This issue does not exist for me under Oneiric Ocelot on the live CD,
nor the full desktop installation. This only existed with Natty Narwhal.
The only change is that now it displays CPU1, CPU2, CPU3, and CPU4,
rather than the 0 to 3. Everything is working well with the system
Upgrade from 11.04 to 11.10 on nearly new Toshiba notepad.
Have been using Thunderbird so Evolution never configured.
Decided to change, reaches opening Add account wizard then disappears when

I see this behavior as well under Unity, even with global menus disabled
(i.e. I uninstalled indicator-appmenu). Even with the profile setting
Show menubar by default in new terminals unchecked, when I launch a

Ubuntu 11.04 - unfortunately I can't use compiz-decorator since it calls the
unity-decorator which does a number of annoying things, like thick shadows that
look horrible on this graphics card and are slow to boot.
gtk-window-decorator at least is configurable
Simple workaround I guess is just to disable alt-space :)

I'm also having the same issue on an Asus A53E-based computer running
Fedora 15 LXDE x86-64, even with the latest Fedora kernels (which are
3.0-based). I tried updating the BIOS, but that didn't help.
What's strange is that from the user level, everything seems to go fine.
