I'm having the same trouble as Paul. Trying to burn a CD-R from an iso image
in Meerkat. I followed the directions here:

Mine is still at the creating image checksum dialog box. So far, it has been

I filed this at the request of ubuntu folks due to having sliiightly different
hardware than bug #632430
However comment #6 in that bug which appears to be doing a little investigation
suggests that this bug is, in fact, a dupe.

Hey. I did a clean install of maverick beta on this laptop.
I noticed I had 2 battery indicators recently on my first restart after
full discharge of the laptop and was confused by this.

Oh, FWIW, I also had a volume of 0 on Speaker in alsamixer that I had to
set to max. Everything looked fine in the sound preferences, so
presumably once again there's some confusion on what channel things are
playing on :)

Sorry for the delay. After I got my suspend problems worked out with
9.10, I have not had any problems with the LEDs on my keyboard. It seems
to me that 9.10 fixed this issue.

Extracted tracks from a CD. Songs listed in RhythmBox library with Track No,

menu item on the right mouse button, it allows me to add genre and year, but

I can confirm that the bug starts with 2.6.32-24 in Lucid. I get a hard
lock every night on that kernel when my incremental backup runs and
snapshots /var. If I switch back to 2.6.32-23, everything works great. I

have to reboot if you mistype your password.
Just wait a few seconds for the presumably invisible shake, then try

omair, if you can't change your DNS, I've found that forcing AI_ADDRCONFIG as
noted in #288, #289 and (importantly) #290
works nicely for me.
Also, if it causes trouble for you, you can just remove or comment out
the ld.so.preload line.
I've applied it on 5 computers here at work w/ no issues
Ubunto package search for foomatic-filters 4.0.4-0ubuntu2. gave no
result.

WRT displaying the battery symbol in comment #19
I've been up for 8 days, I noticed I was losing a lot of memory. Part
of that was the ubunto one sync client (killed it).
400 megabytes of it though was the gnome-power-manager - and this on a
desktop plugged into a UPS.
Killed that as well.

It is my understanding that changing these to gksudo, or alternatively
