This may also be an instance of the newest oem-config pulling in Python3
and triggering this bug,
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1362920 which
does NOT appear to be resolved in 14.04.3 or the available packages in
the main repository.

oem-config 2.18.8.12 pulls in incorrect depends when specifying -gtk
only. On our systems installed from the 14.04.3 server ISO where we have
added Ubuntu MATE packages via the PPA, if we do a system upgrade and
install oem-config-gtk, it pulls in TONS of KDE libraries as well
