Someone says this problem is fixed, but the problems I have experienced seem fairly similar. I'm running an HP Pavilion 522a with 1 GB RAM and using Intrepid Ibis (beta something). I tried this and that but pretty well nothing worked. In the end I just removed Hibernate from the shut down
