using trusty. Installing kernels above 3.16 give warnings with nvidia
and virtualbox kernel modules, using intel card I can boot the system
without problems.
I also see warnings about missing realtek firmware but this shouldn't
affect usb3

Removing nvidia and activating intel graphics (optimus card); and adding
acpi=off boots with mouse connected to USB3, but as soon as I connect
a pendrive usb3 dies.
Keyboard goes a little crazy repeating keystrokes (I don't know if this
is related to acpi=off).
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
Public bug reported:
On trusty I plug a pendrive to my USB3 and try copying a big file. After
less than a minute the drive files.
This pendrive work ok on any usb2 port on the same computer.
The USB is:
03:00.0 USB controller: NEC Corporation uPD720200 USB 3.0 Host Controller (rev
04)
And
I discovered that when plugin headphones, there is no audio; but going
to mixer and choosing speakers as output sound comes out from
headphones.
