can confirm 5.8.0-51 is working. No glitchy rendering and no "GPU HANG"s

Input method isn't working in yakkety

Same problem here. fcitx fails to load when first log in to Ubuntu
desktop. Workarounds: Log out then log back in works. Or manually start
fcitx.
