freeze Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_event: assertion
Running Intrepid with an Intel 965. Oddly enough, rrootage rarely seg
faults on start. It does, however, crash after some random amount of
time. I can make it through multiple stages with no problems, or have it
seg fault half way into the first one.

What do you mean spawns a new process? Do you mean it just says
something like [1] 5? Run it as firefox, not firefox . Not
while firefox is already running (if it is, 'killall firefox')

(Applications - Accessories - Terminal), and seeing what error
messages come up?

n.b., I switched back to carrier (Bitlbee problems), and it doesn't have
this problem, so Pidgin is probably fine too.

behavior in Tilda, I think Pidgin/Carrier, and some other programs as
well. When you click the icon, if the window is shown it is hidden,
