1. The nvidia driver 180.44 is geting errors im dmesg and when it
happens freezes keyboard and screen. Slows pc, it takes 5 minutes to
allow open a console tty.

PRUNEPATHS="/tmp /var/spool /media"
which means that the paths mentioned above are not being indexed by updatedb

It seems to be a tricky bug, but the bigger problem obviously is, that nobody
really feels responsible.
and i don't quite understand this, because this particular bug affects my work
everyday. sure you don't want to abandon compiz for that bug, but i dont think
this affects to few people...plea
I don't want to sound rude, but this bug now has been reported 15 months
ago, has there been any progress? obviously libwnck 2.22 has not fixed
the bug.

I can confirm this on my desktop maschine - Intrepid 8.10 32-bit with all
updates. Assuming it is a limitation with the 32bit version of ubuntu i tried
the 64bit and had the same issue.
meminfo shows 3111964kB while the bios shows full 4096MB.
