A similar thing happened to me. I was on a wlan where I needed to enter a
username and password before any traffic was allowed to pass the gateway. Since
I had a working DHCP lease I guess the live system expected that it could get
language-packs from the net. I got a fatal error and all I

I also managed to find this on my own, but I have to wonder; why is ssh-
agent sgid? Searching the entire filesystem after files belonging to the
ssh group yields no results, so I don't see what benefits ssh-agent
would gain from being sgid.
Isn't the obvious solution to just remove sgid
OK, I tried this:
1. Check rotate 90 degrees and landscape in page setup. Preview is OK.
2. Go to print dialog. Orientation then defaults to portrait in this dialog,
which is reflected in preview and the actual printout. (This is another known
bug.) So one has to select landscape there as well.

Yes, it's still an issue.
A temporary fix for me has been to change from PS2 to USB for both mouse
and keyboard. So the error is probably in the PS2-code.

Adding the LinearAlloc option to xorg.conf did it for me (after turning desktop
effects off - that still produces a blank black surface in the window where the

Still no progress on this one?
It forces me to use a router as dhcp-client.
Tyring to remove dhcp3-client will remove other things too so it seems
like a bad idea.

I have 3 different sensors around 30 C all named temp1, temp2 and
temp3. It is impossible to know which sensor is what (like case air, NB

I, too, can confirm the symptoms. However, the workaround suggested by
the original poster does not appear to work here. WCursor was already
the core pointer, but xmodmap still won't remap the cursor properly. I
have not been able to find out why yet.

After some hours (or sometime minutes) my network connection stops
working (totally)
I use DHCP on eth1 towards Internet and static on eth0 towards LAN and a
router that connects to internet too if this tow interface-stuff is an
issue.
