I don't know what the cause of this is, but it is ridiculous that Ubuntu
uses a version of Scid, the best chess database program for Linux, from
2004 when there have been many recently released superb versions.
Couldn't someone who understands the big picture of how to get this
stuff done take
This just happened to me. We were in a dead drawn king and pawns (no
pieces on either side) endgame. The game was going to end in threefold
repetition soon. We were probably on move 40-50 somewhere. I haven't had
any problems with GNU Chess ending unexpectedly. I'm in Ubuntu 8.04, I
think it is.
