Public bug reported:
In Ubuntu 16.04 server, the phpldapadmin package is missing the template for
creation of groupOfNames object.
(/etc/phpldapadmin/templates/creation/groupOfNames.xml) This results in not
being able to create this object.
In earlier ubuntu releases (14.04 at least) this temp
Yes, please backport this. If I correct the file myself, will this break
something?

This bug also affects vsftpd functionality. When SMB password
synchronisation is selected in pam-auth-update, vsftpd can not
authenticate users and segfaults with OOPS message. This seems like a
critical bug to me and should be corrected as soon as possible in a LTS
server release...

Hi,
the proposed solution (patched sendsigs, libvirt-bin.conf, omit-kvm-vm-pids)
still does not work for me. I have done several tests with sendsigs and found
out that the corresponding pids of running virtuals are successfully included
in the omitpids array in sendsigs. Hovever, the virtuals ar
Hi,
I have installed the latest mentioned files here (sendsigs, omit-kvm-vm-pid,
libvirt-bin.conf with 'break' command suggested by Martin Rusko) on our Lucid
64bit. servers, and it did not help. When doing a reboot, the system does not
wait for the domains to perform a clean shutdown...is there
Unfortunatelly not. This is the only workaround I have found so far. Did you

This morning my ubuntu servers automatically restarted after auto updates, and
I realised that on one server the primary network interface eth0 was left down.
But interfaces eth0:0 and eth0:1 were up and working correctly! Thats really

Thank you for your comment.
I'm using lucid 64 bit, and I don't use bonding at all. My
/etc/network/interfaces file looks similar to this:

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static

netmask 255.255.25
One more comment - the affected hardware is HP ProLiant DL 380 G5
