If you add an e-mail adresse to one contact and that e-mail is in
another contact before, evolution ALWAYS crash with that error:

For example you have 2 contacts.
1. John, j...@g.de
2. John Frankling, j...@hos.com
if you add j...@g.de to #2 the crash will occure. No crash if you delete
#1 before editing #2.

Second evolution crashed while look into my new mails with courser

I was able to gather some new information:
Evolution only thinks it is on top, if inbox is currently selected.
And it doesn't matter if evo is on another workspace or minimised.
If I select ex. trash folder in evo, create a new mail or do something
else in another window. Notifications work

I tested evolution on the same computer on a new user account with the
same pop mail account. I did no changes to any other settings in
evolution. Worked finse as should be.
I think it all started with adding a soundfile for mail notifications.
which didn't work at all.

way. I will go one by one plugin to find which is the reason for the

Evolution with a new mail after restart, switching to another workspace
and waited.
And there was zero crash.

I have all my music on a local server, access is via sftp and I have
selected that place in rb as music folder like always.
Any other program can access those files (nautilus, totem, ...) . But
not rb anymore with 8.10.

I discovered in my gpg.conf there was an old gpg-agent-info entry that
pointed to a non-existent path. When I removed that, the gpg found
seahorse properly and worked.

On my Computer following task are not closed after exiting one user
account.
nautilus with eating 80% CPU
gconfd-2 sleeping
mapping-daemin sleeping
bonobo-activation-server sleeping
killing nautilus closes the 3 others.
