Same behaviour,
When I'm using nautilus address bar to open davs remote directory :
1) It fails with url like this davs://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/remote/dir
2) It first succeed with url like this davs://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ but fail when
I want to browse remote directory
The error is always the same :

This option(*) solved the problem for me too!
(*) Option "LVDSBiosNativeMode" "false" to the Device section of
xorg.conf
My Hardware :
01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon IGP
330M/340M/350M (prog-if 00 [VGA])
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Radeon IGP 345M
I confirm this behavior on "ATI Technologies Inc Radeon IGP 345M", feisty
worked correctly but gutsy not (shakes pixel left to right).
I'll produce as soon as possible the xorg.conf file in a new commentattachment.
