My story is completely the same after upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04. ** Changed in: xpdf (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed
** Description changed: New bug since upgrade to 12.04: I can start xpdf without a filename on the command line, but if I do give a filename on the command line, it crashes and spits out the text below. I suppose it is ghostscript/postscript language. Similarly: first opening xpdf and then opening a file from within the program gives a crash. The output 'during' the crash is like this: [@laptop:~]$ xpdf -cmd intensity_log.pdf ***** MediaBox = ll:0,0 ur:612,792 ***** CropBox = ll:0,0 ur:612,792 ***** Rotate = 0 q cm 0.1 0 0 0.1 0 0 gs /R7 - gfx state dict: << /Type /ExtGState /OPM 1 >> + gfx state dict: << /Type /ExtGState /OPM 1 >> d [5 10] 0 w 0.625 M 3.8 RG 0 0 0 m 610 2120 l 5759.5 2120 S .... more of this and at the end: l 5582 3305 l 5603.5 3415.5 l 5624.5 3305 l 5646 3123.5 l 5667.5 3236.5 l 5689 3236.5 l 5710 3260.5 l 5731.5 3364 l 5753 3345 l 5759.5 3312 S Q Segmentation fault (core dumped) [@laptop]$ - ...
