Have an application that provides a .desktop file - to add a menu entry to the
Applications menu.
On Ubuntu 8.04 - this worked great. An a menu entry was created and when
Ubuntu was rebooted, the menu entry still appears.
However, on Ubuntu 10.10 - when the application is installed the menu entry
appears and can be selected. However once ubuntu is rebooted, the menu entry
disappears.
Is there some change for Ubuntu 10.10 that is required?
