Well, debian stable (4.0) with kernel 2.6.26-1-686 has this issue, if
you want to count it as an other distro. But 2.6.26 is from testing and
with 2.6.22 from stable (or 2.6.17), if I remember correctly, usb
worked. I don't use that machine regularly, only noticed that this issue
emerged along
If you want to replace flash 10 with 9 (while waiting for the end of the never
ending struggle w/ konq+flash):
1. Download fp9 from the archive:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp9_archive.zip
2. edit /var/lib/dpkg/info/flashplugin-nonfree.postinst
Uh, so if you change the references from flash...10 to 9, then you
should also copy the chosen tar.gz to /var/cache/flashplugin-
nonfree/install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz, not ..._10_... Sorry! :)

Like Terry, I was also affected by this bug in the form of jerking of
video playback every 10 sec. (or, jerking of konqueror auto-scrolling).
Affected video driver was intel, and the chip
