For 10.04, Timo confirmed that there won't any support for that since
there is 9 months before reach its EOL, so you have to make it by
youself.

After many tries, neither 10.04 nor 12.04 work :-(

Well, We can choose one of our machine to upgrade the kernel to v3.8.
We have use DELL's diagnostic tool to test the hardware, including the disk,
memory and motherbroad, all goes well.

All the 12.04 on R720 is newly installed, less than a month.
As you suggest us upgrading the kernel, it is not so well for putting into
practise, because they all for production.
All the above error log appear with no regular, sometime appear across the
whoile the screen and sometimes just
