This is an extremely odd bug that requires a very specific scenario to
reproduce:
1) You need to be using an ecryptfs-style cryptoswap partition (as would
be setup when you choose "Encrypt my home directory" during the
installation)
2) The underlying physical swap partition
@isabel-t, maybe try to reinstall virtualbox, assuming your disabling of
the validation was successful and that isn't the problem any more.
Sorry, don't have much more on this, for me disabling validation solved
the problem.

Yesterday I sorted out one of them. If you have swap on a GPT
partitioned NVMe or MMC drive, ecryptfs-setup-swap isn't correctly
marking the partition as non-auto-mounting, which leads the the user

This is the first time i've seen "free" drop down low as it should, but
the memory still hasn't been reclaimed by hyper-v. This particular VM
has been up 19 days. am I wrong in thinking that dynamic mem should have

allow the user to uncompress rar archives. Instead, p7zip-rar must be

Same result when I use "Try Ubuntu without installing" and "Install
Ubuntu". Happens with both UEFI and BIOS installs.
A quick glance at `JournalErrors.txt` confirms that the crash is
happening during "Configure time zone...":

The problem is real, but there's there's a simple solution. Edit
'/etc/default/grub' and find the line: 'GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT'.
Add 'fastboot' option to the list. After that update grub ('sudo
update-grub'). This is not necessarily a workaround as the problem may

and then used "zpool destroy lxd" to remove the original zpool. Then I

With this proposed package, System76 is seeing network-manager crash
upon the first resume from suspend. Anyone else experiencing this?

I had a similar issue for quite a while, and I tried every fix possible
to get applications to appear, even so far as to remove Unity and
install it once again. However, I discovered that Chrome had

I have a similar issue. I was already unable to access a NAS network
share, but after sudo gediting smb.conf, the network icon is missing
from the file browser.

Confirmed this fix in the proposed packaged, everything seems shiny.
I confirmed that after an OEM install, enabling proposed, updating, and
finally clicking "Prepare for shipping to user", Ubiquity behaves as
expected during the first-run user config:
1) When not connected to Ethernet and you
to innefficiancy, lots of web posts and generall unlucky
cluelessness,,
goodness to all mankind! remember :D
and please note, i am one of the growing crowd of python peeps that
exclusively uses python3.

I can say that this problem is resolved on Ubuntu 16.04. Unfortunately,
it doesn't come with GNATSWEB anymore, so you have to download it
manually. But when you do, the packaging works as expected. So I'll
close this as resolved in 16.04
