yes, i am able to boot into the livecd (now i'm writing using konqueror from the live cd) and i was able to install this beta in the ide hd (identified as hda) but ther's no way (i think...) to see the sata disk that usually, in the stable ubuntu/kubuntu releases, is detected as sda... in the
