My stopper bug is unity.
Do you mayor developers still feel that all the time that is spent
developing unity and solving the (still quite basic) bugs would not
better have been spent on making all the applications that people
actually need to do their work (and the basic functions in Ubuntu,
Oh yeah, and to the person praising gnome3, gnome3 sucks even more!
It's layout etc. are even more irrational and illogical then with unity.
And it disregards expert users even more, by making it almost impossible
to make basic customizations.

Just tell me what kind of diagnostic information you need from me to solve

Just build 2.6.5 myself, no error message anymore when started from the
terminal. So this can be fixed by upgrading to 2.6.5.
