Public bug reported:

this is an installation failure (sudo apt-get install samba4)
ProblemType: Package
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04
Package: samba4 4.0.0~alpha18.dfsg1-4ubuntu2
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-23.35~precise1-generic 3.5.7.2
Uname: Linux 3.5.0-23-generic x86_64
Confirmed in Xubuntu 12.10.
Leaving out the brackets does not solve the issue. I thought this was an
issue with special characters however:
Composing a password exclusively from special characters works fine...
E.g., !@#$%^*()_+
Adding a regular character to the above string is also fine but
After a gdb session, it turns out all keywords in .vnc file must be
capitalized!
And function vinagre_connection_new_from_file() doesn't show the error
message.

There seems to be a bug in 3.4.2:

GtkWindow* parent) {

const gchar* _tmp0_;

I'm having this issue in Oneiric. White boxes keep appearing around my
popup menus. In 11.04 I used to be able to change the Shadow Radius to
fix the issue, but that doesn't appear to be the case anymore.

Using quiet acpi=force has not resolved the problem for me. Instead
of hanging at the splash screen during shutdown, it now hangs during
shutdown when it says halting system (I think that is correct). This
happens 70% of the time I shut down.

lucid doesn't shut down completely
Thanks, now (with 2.6.32) it works fine

Same problem with Kubuntu after upgrade to beta. I'm using iwl3945 driver.
Additionally last upgrades causes constant high CPU usage by NetworkManager.
If network is configured manually everything seems work fine (except
NetworkManager process).

I upgraded from ubuntu 7.10 to 8.04 by running 'update-manager -d' on my
laptop thinkpad T60. After that, when I run apt-get update it shows the
message:
apt-get: relocation error: /usr/lib/libapt-pkg-libc6.7-6.so.4.6: symbol
Hi-
Sorry I don't really understand what you mean. I upgraded from 7.04 to
7.10a couple of months ago and today I upgraded to
8.04. Before upgrading to 8.04, the update manager shows my system is up to
date.

Hi-
I found the solution
http://www.linuxdiyf.com/bbs/archiver/tid-68799.htmlwhich is a Chinese
forum. I did as follows:
$ ldconfig -p |grep libstdc++
libstdc++.so.6 (libc6) = /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6
libstdc++.so.6 (libc6) = /usr/local/lib/libstdc++.so.6
$ diff
