Public bug reported:
this happened during an update
ProblemType: Package
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04
Package: openssh-server 1:8.2p1-4ubuntu0.3
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.11.0-25.27~20.04.1-generic 5.11.22
Uname: Linux 5.11.0-25-generic x86_64
ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu27.18
Architecture:
This is so incredibly absurd from Debian, and I have discussed with them
as well. The software DOES support running under a different user, and
in fact the packaged software does have a setting in their config file
for changing the user, with no notice whatsoever towards such mindless
limitation im
d through the relevant
/etc/default file.
