Note, even disabling the touchpad, or unloading the kernel touchpad drivers didn't solve it. I had to plug in a mouse and remove it to stop having this problem -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu.

Even after multiple restart the issue was not fixed. Turns out it was affecting every application that involved mouse wheel down. when I pressed ctrl, it would zoom out etc. User level FIX: Weirdly, after I plugged in a USB mouse, and plugged it out. The issue stopped. Yep, just like that. --

Public bug reported: This doesn't occur with Firefox. But it occurs with Chrome AND gnome- terminal. What happens is that if I have more than one tab in focus, it moves to the last tabs by itself. Here is a screen capture of what happens. I am running ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS, i have never had this
