Just tried again - I think in separating desktop & server editions there was a
goofup ...
On any FAST / NEW machine ...
Install HH Server
Install ubuntu-desktop
Problems with booting - dbus ...

I get the same result -
I install Heron Via - 1) install HH server ( no extras ) 2) install HH desktop
- freezes after login showing th crane & nothing else.
I install 1) install Gibbon server ( no extras ) 2) install GG desktop -
everything OK 3) upgrade to HH - same freeze

If the internet is unplugged I can reproduce this bug,
plug in internet & bug goes away - running hardy heron / ubuntu server & ubuntu

Have tried all the "fixes", no joy
Before upgrading to Heron, I had this randomly
