I was using a couple of different OSs and chat clients and not sure if
someone tried to add them to my contacts list and they weren't matching
up...
As its stands now tho.. I havent got the issue anymore, so check to see
if you have any outstanding requests from other chat clients?!?

No I am not having this issue anymore. It could have been related to a
variety of IM clients in use on different PCs/Phones/Laptops etc that
had added a friend when I didnt have that on the pidgin release.
So I dont have a remedy, but its ok now thanks.
