Come on, it can't be that hard to solve this.
Couldn't the Depends line of debian/control be changed to emacs22 |
emacsen, as other ELisp packages have?

I'm also having this issue. After hibernation the sound doesn't work,
but if I restart the computer it does work. I use 2.6.20-12-generic.
