and on a mint 18 system, kernel 4.4.0-21-generic. I have several cifs
mounts, and if any one server becomes unresponsive, then any process
attempting to access the mounts will hang indefinitely. If I unmount
using -l and wait

I have the same problem. I'm running kubuntu jaunty on a lenovo x60 tablet. My
mouse looks like this:

mouse has been connected, but not detected
For what it's worth, I think this bug deserves a higher importance
rating than low. USB mice are a pretty important piece of hardware,

to know that it will work the 7th time you plug it in).

Problem still exists in latest Hardy. I have attached a full backtrace
that I collected with GDB over the network, not sure if it will be
useful. There is also a second backtrace included that shows what
happens after I try to start up Xorg after the crash.

Using kubuntu/hardy on a lenovo x60 tablet. When the screen is rotated
in any orientation other than normal, performance is visibly degraded
--things that were very smooth like scrolling a browser window now
redraw at about 5Hz. Rotating back to normal restores original

I have two machines running kubuntu/gutsy--one is a lenovo x60 tablet
(dual core intel) and the other is an AMD64 desktop. When I try to log
out from either machine from KDE, the screen goes black with some
artifacts and the machine freezes.
