I'm still getting this in Lucid.
Using 'me menu' I set status to 'Invisible' but it displays the 'Busy' icon.
If I then click 'chat accounts', it shows that MSN is set to invisible but
Facebook Chat, Google Talk and the other chat that Empathy sets up are all set
to 'busy'

The playback speed can't be changed dynamically using the slider but does work
when set then 'play-at-speed' is pressed.

Can anyone confirm that this has been fixed either by installing one of the
updates today (from Karmic proposed?)
or by doing gconf-editor - apps - indicator-session and setting
suppress_logout_restart_shutdown to true (which turns the shutdown confirmation
off)?
I did one of these and it seems
A lot of the time it also seems to adopt a nearby icon like the volume or
battery one.

Binary package hint: evince
opening a pdf from Opera, evince opens it correctly but also spins-up my
external HDD from standby.
Don't think this should be necessary.

I also see notice about 'stopping firestarter firewall', filed as a separate
bug.
Seems to be primarily on logout, going back from desktop to gdm.
It usually flashes too quickly to read properly but I'll have a look this
evening and report back
