I have this problem too. When I try to connect to it for the second
time, it gives this error on the client-side:
Got HTTP response: HTTP/1.1 401 Authentication failed
Server 'example.com' requested Basic authentication which is disabled by default
Failed to obtain WebVPN cookie

any errors show up in the terminal window, please post them here.
This is actually the second report of the scheduler not working in
Ubuntu recently, so maybe we can figure this out.

Never mind - Somehow my local package simply looked newer from a
versioning perspective. I found the right version and as far as I can
tell the problems are gone in this version.

I found the ugly rendering is also persistent (not just on hover) on
some websites, and doesn't completely go away when setting the two
about:config options. For me it is always there in the google mail
interface (however, not the displayed mail content).

So in my case, my VM was configured with only 256MB of memory. This
caused no problem on the normal -virtual kernel but caused all sorts of
problems when I installed -lowlatency in the guest.
Upgrading to 384MB solved the problem reliably here, so perhaps this is
not the same thing afterall.
