Go into system, preferences, mouse and untick the locate mouse box. That should stop the mouse from being located when the ctrl key is pressed. Surprisingly, the media keys should also work again! Can anyone else confirm this behavior? -- XPS m1330 media buttons not functional in Xubuntu
