I am in the middle of an mimic -> nautilus -> octopus upgrade, and got
the same 'tick checking mon for new map' cycle from my 15.2.3 OSD
daemons. After
$ ceph osd require-osd-release mimic
octopus OSD-s can connect to the cluster.

I am receiving this same issue with thunderbird, but I get an error when
I try to start the desktopcouch-service:

I have posted a stack trace, but it's in one of the bugs marked as a
duplicate of this bug. I can get a new stack trace about every 30
minutes.
Is there any way to escalate this bug or have someone re-review it? It
happens with gtk-window-decorator, too.

Sorry, I misspoke in my previous comment. I posted an ltrace and a
backtrace in bug #776312.

I am having this same problem with another Java application. This makes
natty unusable. Two of my other coworkers are having a similar problem.
