I installed JACK two days ago on a fully updated Gutsy system. Just
noticed that JACK put a strange folder into my personal files folder. It
is named jack-0200ee01 and contains the following files:
jack.freedb
jack.progress

I tried to make Ardour play a WAV file I recorded the other day but it
only produces something that sounds like morse. The file plays o.k. in
Audacity and Totem.

I have been using Gutsy for several weeks and it always worked fine. I
update every day. Since today's update, sound does not work properly any
more: Sound level is far too low, even though I now turned up ALSA's PCM
and Master lever to 100%.

I am really ashamed of having filed this bug report - I just attached
the wrong cable.

presently the only one marked Production / Stable at sourceforge
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/openvip/). It is based on Python.
Developers provide binaries for Microsoft Windows (TM) only. Compilation
i think he posted this bug because the version provided in the repos is
from 2006, whereas the newest release available as source code is from
june 7th 2007, and this probably is quite a difference considering that
this seems to be a young product under continous development.

Oh. I have deleted all third party repos from my sources.list and
unsinstalled the svn libmlt etc., but the two strange mlt entries are
still there.

numbers even though they are shown in the list, and they are not
