I've ran the requested lsinputs and input-events.. and attached a file for you to see. I didn't see any BTN_* events related to the keyboard on any of the event numbers. I've also tried the udev urules file suggested by Chris. No go on that one. The bug still happens. I'll be here for the next

I'm also affected by this bug as well. Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard v1.0a and Logitech M-BJ69 3-Button USB/PS/2 Optical Mouse. rmmod usbhid;modprobe usbhid and/or unplugging kb and reinserting it does seem to make it work again. -- Keyboard special keys interfere with mouse

I did look at my /var/log/Xorg.0.log and it does seem there is a mouse component of sorts in my kb as well. (or it thinks there is). I'll attach the xorg.0.log too. ** Attachment added: xorg.0.log
