I find the same (or similar) defect in 2.0.13. On one hand, the
argument might be that I have multiple configurations and that creates
problems, but the counter argument to that is that if I download my own
instance of Seamonkey (which I did with 2.0.11 and 2.0.13) I do not have
this buffer
I have not had success with the 2.0.13 build; get the same buffer
overflow crash I reported in the 2.0.11 release. Downloading a
Seamonkey binary from Mozilla on the same platform works, so the defect
is in something that has been put into this package.

package squeak-vm 1:3.9.8-3ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade:

You received this bug notification because
I received an exception when I clicked on the clock in an Xubuntu 9.10
Alpha 6 instance, running in Virtualbox OSE from a Debian Sid based
laptop system. Not positive that it is the same defect, but problems
persist in this interface.

time-admin crashed with SIGSEGV in strcmp()
I am running the 8/24/09 Xubuntu daily build and I got this same message
immediately upon reaching the desktop in a Virtualbox OSE instance. I
have no idea what may have been called or invoked; all I can tell you
right now is that I use Virtualbox Open Source Edition 3.0.4 on a

package squeak-vm 1:3.9.8-3ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade:
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: squeak-vm
Received an error message that squeak-vm failed to install when
upgrading from 8.10 to 9.04. Off hand, I am not sure what this package
does, but since an offer was made to file a report, I am complying.

Once the upgrade completed and I rebooted, the package manager indicated
that there was one package to upgrade - squeak-vm. I did so and it
upgraded fine. It appears, therefore, that any defect is localized to
the upgrading between 8.10 and 9.04, otherwise package update later
works just fine.
