I can confirm this bug.
Installing libcurl3-gnutls_7.64.0-3_amd64.deb or loading the libraries
of libcurl3-gnutls_7.64.0-3_amd64.deb from the Debian will solve the
issue.

sometimes (one out of ten) the xserver freezes at login
adding 'and stopped udevtrigger to lightdm.conf fixes the issue.
lightdm.conf looks now like
Computer HP probook 4531s
processor: sandy bridge i3-2330M
display 1366x768
kernel 3.2.0-24-generic
same bug, google earth freezes, sometimes x freezes after login
so far the fix 'intel_reg_write 0x2120 '0x1206800' fixed the bug,
(google earth runs flawlessly now)

I still use the same Probook and I installed kernel 3.0.0-18-generic
#31~lp638939 SMP Fri Mar 30 This seems to be a solution to the hardware
bug. Why did it so long to fix?. I found a simple work around anyway:
Adding video=SVIDEO-1:d to grub fixes the bug as well

I own a eeepc 1000h. and can report the same problem when using a 2.6.32
kernel or the lucid kernel. When the networkmanager indicates wpa/wpa2,
I cannot connect to the network. module: rt2860sta. I hope this can be
solved

When turning off the Wireless device with Fn+F2 on EeePC 1000h and others,
usually the kernel
freezes completely.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Boot EeePC with WiFi off
2. Press Fn+F2: the blue WiFi feedback LED turns on and
3. After having established a connection to a wireless
