bug recompiling mplayer fails with getting the build deps:

No significant modifications, thats true.

I just tested that workaround on a fresh 9.04 installation, no luck.
ive installed poulsbo-driver-2d and 3d.

Ok, so why are there packages for 8.10 in the ubuntu mobile if they cant work?
ive tried 8.04 with the same hardware, also a nogo. will write another bug
about that.

option to be dropped into a shell in your installed system or the rescue
system. both choices do not result in /bin/bash as shell.
Instead you get a busybox shell which lacks arrow up or tab
