What happens:
Computer turns on, starts up Ubuntu Lucid Lynx Alpha 3, Show Login Screen,
starts count down for Auto Login, if no user input-it auto logs in no problem.
If interrupted, and other is choosen, it chooses the default auto login user
and still logs

So it may not be a bug, but it does make a bug report and give a unuseful error
message to a user, so something might be changed to let a user know to run it
from a gui and not from the tty. Why doesn't it open a new instance of gui or a

I start my computer, Ubuntu loads up and auto-logs on and in. Since it loads up
a user that probably doesn't have sudo rights. I open up another terminal to
access root. [F7] Terminal to [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[F1]Terminal. Then I run commmands

This bug disappeared for a while during Lucid Lynx Alpha 1 2, but has

This bug has continued into the 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope Version, I had
stopped using that option since it always crashed on me. The change that
I make in the menu.lst grub file is deleting all the quiet and
replacing and adding splash,
