If you close without saving the project, Brasero has both the Close

The latest update (although it could be a couple of days back, TBH) has
fixed this for me.

I have the same issue with my T41. It happened on the last kernel
upgrade, I believe. It still manages to scan happily for APs, both in
the NM applet, and using iwlist, but won't connect to anything.

I had a quick go, but my knowledge of iwconfig is a little lacking, and
I wasn't sure how to get my WPA key setup properly. Plus, it didn't seem
to want to play with either the key or the enc on flags.
I'll do a bit of reading up and try again tomorrow.

Looks like this has been fixed in Gutsy (and I presume Hardy - will
confirm once I've upgraded my laptop):

Well, I resolved it on mine. I had never managed to get it working at
all. So I bought a USB keyboard, and plugged that in, and it worked.
Once I had logged in, the PS/2 keyboard also started working!

I have just done a completely fresh Gutsy install, and have the same
problem. No keyboard on reboot. Not even the SysRq stuff works. Haven't
rebooted enough to know whether it comes up some of the time. Very
annoying

When I open the appearance preferences, select 'Visual Effects' and

Apologies. I think I've mixed up the xpad application with the xpad
driver.

xpad is also the name of an application :( I couldn't find a package
which contain the xpad kernel module, which I believe is the affected
one, but this seemed like a possibility

Just been trying it - took 10 minutes running the presentation. Nothing
else running, other than my TightVNC connection. Dumped me out of SSH
this time, and cannot get back in, although the machine is still

Public bug reported:
I have a Buzz! Controller, from the PS2, which I'm told registers as a
20-button joystick/joypad on Windows. It is picked up fine in Ubuntu
(feisty) and quick tests with jstest and jscalibrator indicate that it
is working, except that both show it as only having 16 buttons,
I'm running a stock Feisty install on am IBM Thinkpad T41, with an
atheros-based wifi card, and I have exactly the same problem, although
for me a reboot works fine.
After hibernation the wifi seems to be trying to connect but failing,
making me think this might be a network-manager problem?
