Tried some variants but still nothing displayed on the TV.
BTW: it works fine in 8.04 (same hardware)
I may be doing something stupid in the xorg.conf...
what you see in comments is what I tried or what is working when I boot in 8.04

I've made more tests and this bug occurs also:
- if I add a classic VGA monitor
- if I remove the HDTV
During boot I see the kernel boot messages
Then I see the X first messages (looking like the /var/log/X*) for about 45s
Then I have a black display
