I also tried installing source package, the same problem occurs.
This was working fine in ubuntu 12.04.

Since upgraded to Intrepid,
using a HP 6710b with a intel 3945ABG wireless card
get errors in dbus-gproxy.c in two different cases:
- in nm-applet, when trying to connect to a new wireless network:
