and connecting to LEAP at work using iwl3945. It is _still_ broken ;-(

the given workaround is successful, would it not be worth either
changing the existing binary (presuming that it doesn't effect other
cards) or, in the event that it does effect other cards, having a
separate libmyth-fglrx for ati users
clearly ati won't fix anything for at least 2 years :)

Using the latest 8.30.3 fglrx drivers, mplayer with vo xv works fine but
mythtv-frontend has blue tinge to all tv playback.
I believe the bug applies to all ATI RADEON X cards and myth needs to be
recomplied with
according to the commit info (http://mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-
commits/2006-August/020538.html) this will make MythTV ignore the
broken I420 format that the driver advertises and use the working YV12
format instead
However, as a workaround I attempted to enable the forceyv12 playback
filter,
