I believe you can reproduce the bug through Virtualbox without
Virtualbox Additions. Just install Ubuntu and choose autohide launcher.

I have always had this problem on Ubuntu. When Oneiric came out I
installed Xubuntu 11.10 and the problem is still there. I am willing to
provide any necessary information. Although, I would probably need some
guidance.
