I made no other changes to the Dapper test box (it was pretty standard anyway
with just Kubuntu and Xubuntu added and 3D drivers for nVidia installed)

got this same error message today attempting to upgrade from a freshly
updated Dapper to Edgy (as in, I'd just fully updated it and rebooted to
get everthing properly in)
